Short daily sessions focused on the two or three facts currently shaky, mixed with already-known facts for confidence. Understanding first (arrays, skip counting), then speed. Most children need a few months of little-and-often practice, not a cramming week.

Third grade is a real difficulty jump — memorization load plus abstract fractions. Keep home practice low-stakes and short, celebrate progress on specific facts, and use visual models for fractions until they feel concrete.
